Outreach Service Introduction
River Cam’s Outreach Chinese Medicine team provides professional home visit services. Our Chinese Medicine Practitioners are dispatched to public hospitals (such as Shatin Hospital, Tseung Kwan O Hospital, Prince of Wales Hospital), day care centers, nursing homes, or patients’ homes to offer services including Chinese Medicine diagnosis, herbal medicine, acupuncture and more. Our aim is to ease the burden of elderly or mobility-impaired individuals, allowing them to receive high-quality Chinese Medicine treatment comfortably in their own homes, care facilities, or hospitals.
River Cam’s outreach Chinese Medicine service embodies our commitment to community health, aiming to provide support and assistance to those in need of special attention and care. We believe that through outreach services, we can contribute to the health and well-being of the community.
Ms. Chan, an elderly person with mobility issues, recently admitted to a public hospital due to health problems, expressed her desire to receive Chinese Medicine treatment during her hospital stay. Therefore, Ms. Chan’s family sought the outreach service of River Cam.
In coordination with the hospital, Chinese Medicine Practitioners from River Cam visited Ms. Chan’s ward to diagnose her condition and provide acupuncture treatment to restore her body’s balance and health.
Upon completion of the treatment, the Chinese Medicine Practitioner offered personalized health advice to Ms. Chan. Additionally, River Cam ensured continuity of care and support by delivering the prescribed Chinese herbal decoction to Ms. Chan’s ward, ensuring she could continue to receive Chinese Medicine care and assistance.
